The JavaScript Learning Landscape

Jason Rodriguez‘s post The JavaScript Learning Landscape in 2018 in CSS-TRICKS is interesting and very timely.  It’s timely because I am too dedicating most of my 2018 spare-time in Learning JavaScript. I went through similar approach to identify appropriate learning resources and determine my learning road map. This Jason’s resourceful post would be immensely useful for my JavaScript learning journey too.

Michael Kühnel‘s collection of JavaScript learning resources Awesome JavaScript Learning has very useful JavaScript learning resource links too.

JavaScript

I didn’t believe I could learn JavaScript—I didn’t have a programming background, I couldn’t make sense of the Foobar geek-speak, I forgot everything I learned by the next day— and I almost convinced myself that I could never be a developer. I almost gave up on learning JavaScript altogether. Zell Liew

In a post title The Top JavaScript Trends to Watch in 2018, Ryan Chartrand has a 2018 planning guide for developers to learn or update their JavaScript skills. In addition to brief description, it has a link to study materials as well.
